Moreover, Lightning Fury was buffed for the early game which has made the build a solid starter option. Season 4 note: Lightning Javazon retains her extremely high single-target damage output in season 4, and her AoE DPS is now higher than ever. The main strong point of this (and all the others, to be honest) Javazon Build is its incredibly high single-target damage output. Despite the nerfs, however, Javazons are not dead on the contrary - with some changes to the original builds, they still thrive in Project Diablo 2, especially after some of the skills were re-buffed in seasons 3 and 4!
Sadly, the changes made in early seasons of PD2 included some severe nerfs to Amazon's Javelin and Spear Skill tree (Lightning Fury was nerfed to the ground, most notably note: It was buffed in subsequent seasons, yay), which has made the "classic" Javazon builds somewhat obsolete at the start. Javazon builds were a true staple of the original Diablo 2.
